June 24, 200322 yr Where the h&ll is 856?and Murf? (yea, driving back and forth to the cottage every day)and DS? (picking his nose or sleeping I guess)and Stiffy?and Drabek? (painting do doubt)and Bill?and Dean?and Vulcan?and?and?and?Where is Ferd when we need him?
June 24, 200322 yr 856 - Don't know - got an email from him about Lee's New Project, but got no reply about the offer of the aircraft model.Drabek/Dean/Vulcan - Have not seen any of these guys around the forum in a while.Drabek really needs to get a grip and drop that paint brush and do some PIC flying. Man he's like a factory.Mark
June 24, 200322 yr hehe...I am alive...will be up and flying by 2100z tonight....and Bevvy, you are one to ask about "where the hell is..." :-)Rob.PS - Mark, I am not sure I got an e-mail about a "model"...are you referring to the IFDG 767? I heard it has some serious issues and does not fly anything like a 767 so I will leave that alone for now.Freaking hot here today...33C and climbing...derated TO power :-)
June 24, 200322 yr Rob,Yep that was what I was refferring to. It's really weird that using the PIC FDE the IFDG 767 flies nothing like the Default PIC or the POSKY/PIC aircraft. This is all related to the aircraft cfg file - I have added the Stuff from the Wilco Cfg to the IFDG one that I was sent. The IFDG aircraft cfg was copied straight from their 757 model as their FDE has not been done yet. Problems I have encountered so far include:Nose Lifts off as soon as Take Off Power Applied.Serious problems with Autothrottle and reducing speeds when below 220 knots.Keeps trying to increase speed and is very slow to react.Autoland - entered deep stall about 4 miles short, flying at VREF+5 however was at about a 10 degrees nose up angle.I know that Bill has encounterd similar problems. The idea initially was to tailor the aircraft cfg to PIC before the model was released, but this is looking increasingly difficult.Hopefully will be in a position to fly Vatsim Fri or Sat this week.Have a couple of interesting RW routes from work, and hope to get another one Thu night into Fri.EGPF-ULLI-EGLL about 2hrs 45 each way.Hope to get EGPF - Holguin, Cuba a good 10hrs flight.

June 24, 200322 yr I am alive!35+ here today.Rob, your resort is sounding like the solution. Stella Artois? Chilled glass? Ahh, let's not forget the pool and the thong. Hmmm... picture this, Rob Hall in a thong, serving Stella Artois by the pool side :* Sweet!!!!Mark, your flight is 2.45 hrs, that is a 3- 4 beer flight. Lets plan a pic on VATSIM beer/ poker run? We need about a 6 beer flight.Where is Ian?
June 24, 200322 yr "Hmmm... picture this, Rob Hall in a thong, serving Stella Artois by the pool side :*"???Let's not and say we didn't.:-)You're sick Bill, very sick.
June 24, 200322 yr Didn't you two spend a couple nights together back when we did the Charity Flight? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. How sound asleap were you when they took "the" picture? This thread needs killin, soon me thinks! I am sorry I started it. Can't wait to see a reply from DS to this one.
June 24, 200322 yr Hehe - "the" picture was taken in the parking lot of the hotel...at 3am after a few beers, I decided to moon/salute Captain Bill on behalf of the CF night crew...he pulled out the camera and the rest is history...although I think he looks at the picture a little too often for my liking.
June 24, 200322 yr I am not sick, just hot! 36c in the sun in Stoney Creek.Au contrare mon ami. The "photo" was destroyed at Mr Hall's request. Most of us that endured the viewing were to say the least, blind for awhile. Hehe. There is only one person on this fine earth that will endure the haulass. That would be his bride to be. As for the thong, Yellow is my faviorite color.Muhaaaaa
