DS has no inner circle. The VATSIM world is full of those who totally do not understand him, and those of us who try. Just don't ask him about 1. grey matter2. merging regional jets or automobiles with PIC3. directions from CEYA to LATR4. why he loves "I_LOVE_AIRBUS" type callsigns on the PIC forum5. Must have additions for the next version of PIC6. How simple that would have been, a SID with a departure gate, no no - join victor airway without even hinting at where to anchor if from. Ah well, it is not in my database anyway.Great landing Gary, even if a bit long, any centerline landing on the DCA river vis to 19 is a fine landing.Daryl done good too. What happened on the first try anyway? I was back there dealing with lost voice comm turning over the river and did not see you up ahead when you cranked it to starboard over the bridge to line up.Did Roberto ever make it down, I missed that too, along with Bill's landing which was at least 10 minutes ahead of Daryl and I.The River Dance, ya gotta love it.Mike

Thanks Mike. I came in a bit hot after wrestling off VNAV which was trying to accelerate me to 210kts a few miles out, with ATC blaring at me to reduce to min speed for separation purposes. I had a lot more fuel than usual (30K lbs left at landing), which didn't help with landing speed, but I did so based on previous PIC/ponsky flyins where I've spend 1hr+ extra either taxiing for departure in a big queue or been a nameless face in a holding stack for landing.Sure was fun though, and good to fly with PIC affectionados!Gary

Preferred Routes are available from the CYYZ FIR, but yes, I agree with you 100% Mike. Giving someone a victor route is all well and good - but what is the anchor for the V265? YYZ Vor I think is the anchor for V265.Therefore YYZ V265...Yes, the arrival into to DCA was fraught with several disconnects and a go-around. At one point, the QF flight was only 2.9 MIT of you Daryl, not exactly legal separation for 2 heavies but it was fun to look at on the scope :-PRyan (DCA_V_APP)
