>>>What Excel version are you guys using?>>>Did you try renaming the file to "Dispatcher 3B9.xls" as I>>>suggested above?>>I am running Office 2000, I also tried to rename the file but>I sill get the message.>>I had the same problem and renaming the file to dispatcher 3B9.xls did not solve it. I ended up fiddling around so much i sort of lost track of everything. However, I seem to have resolved the problem and I think I did it by renaming the file to dispatcher 3B9.xls, started the programme, closed it down then renamed it again to dispatcher 31.xls. I've no idea why this should work, but it does for me. I noticed also that, having downloaded the file to my desktop and extracting the files to the desktop as well, if I then moved the extracted 'dispatcher 31' folder into my 'misc flightsim' folder on the desktop (which contains shortcut icons for various sims) I received the same error message you mention. Take the folder out and dump it back onto the desktop and everything works fine (??)Hope this works for you

...sorry, I forgot to add that when I renamed the file to 'dispatcher 31' I typed the .xls file extension in rather than letting the 'puter do it automatically. no idea if this would have made a difference or not, but as I said, it sorted my problem out.John C

I am checking what can be done, probably will sort it out this weekend (Friday-Saturday in Israel ;-))>also the Excel complains>something about fixed cells after the load (which is>longish).Every load takes a long time or only the first? what exactly is the message you get?

BUMPBack to work :-)Tero (or anyone else) - is it working now? any other troubles you noticed?

Ilan My problem is only that of the navagation buttons on the side not showing, other than that, what a great program!! my last few flights with it have been great! Although I gotta learn how to read the wind patterns aloft from the links that are there I have no idea how to read the LOL, but dont know if it really has effected me that much.Love the fact that it gives me my trim seeting!!!! Thanks IlanBrian

OK i just found out I cant update my airports for the new airac, it gives me an 1004 run time error, select method of worksheet class faildBrian

Hello Ilan,The current problem is this:1. IF I use the filename that came with the package, ie. Dispatcher 31.xls, Excel will say this when I try to navigate the toolbar:"Dispatcher 31.xls already open, you cannot have several instances of the file open. Close all the other instances to reload the file"(that is freely translated from Finnish, so it might be a little different actually in English lang Excel)2. IF I rename the file as you suggested earlier in this thread, Excel will say this when I try to navigate the toolbar:"Cannot locate Dispatcher 31.xls"Note that I do have the toolbar visible, regardless of the filename I use.I'm using WinXP Pro and Office XP with Excel 2002 (10.2701.2625 build).regardsTero

gat12 - The side buttons are gone in this version, you should use a toolbar you can see at the top.Got the 1004 error, I think it is fixed now in the new build.Tero - the problem is simple and annoying - Excel "updated" the macros with file names it thinks are correct. You may try to download the dispatcher again, and change the filename BEFORE running the program.

Ilan,Just tried it.Changed the filename before even running it, and I'm getting the same error. It cannot find the "Dispatcher 31.xls". :(Tero
