OMG! PIC 767 V2 !!!!!!!

Would it be possible to get a "stone" confirmation from Wade ?I just wanna be sure....but...PIC V2!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!! IMAGINE

The only thing you or I will get in "stone" anymore is our names carved on headstones (A LONG time from now in all our cases I hope). For now you must take it on "faith" that a PIC V2 is in the works. I have always trusted that it would come along some day and now we "do have it" from the source that it is well on the way. We do not have details much beyond what was discussed on the "PIC Radio Show" so I as have said many times, be patient. Mike

bah! He didn't confirm it back then why would he confirm now? ;)How long has the v2 been in development?

"bah! He didn't confirm it back then why would he confirm now?"Humbug! They are working in the darkness, the clues are in the story I wrote."How long has the v2 been in development?"Think about it, about 2 years (on and off) would be my "guess". For many developers, new ideas are toyed with as soon as a release (or a fix in this case) is turned loose. If I were working on something in my free time that is this complex, it would be decades. And that makes the assumption I had the skills, which I do not.Mike

Waiting for something makes the product oh so much better! :)

Who will publish 767 PIC V2 ?just curious...

I really hope this will be confirmed soon!! If it's the same team that did 767PIC, then I just can't wait!! An improved version of 767 PIC!! That will be awsome!! Good luck to the team for developping it and I really hope to hear more about it very soon, my credit card is already ready!!!!!!!Regards,Francois

>Waiting for something makes the product oh so much better!>:)Well, it is quite nice to actually have the product as well ;-)

Why dont you just go to the PIC767 club's site and download the radio show and listen to it again? Although I haven't always agreed with some of the methods used by some of these serious PIC enthusiasts in dealing with questions asked by new members, I have to say that they are all very much honest people and knee deep in love with the PIC767. I therefore dont see the need to have any of the WELP team confirming anything on this forum. If they want to then ok....but I for one dont see why we can't simply take the PIC767 club's word at face value and just be patient.I for one have been anxious as well about news about a patch. Well I consider this news better than I've ever hoped for. Right now is the time for patience. Lets not turn the "will there be a patch" debacle into a "will there be confirmation of a new version" debacle.
