PIC in fs9- How to?

Featured Replies

I've got PIC running in FS2002 wiht the POSKY models so I'm all set there :) however I have not tried to get it running in FS9, and would love to do so- I miss my heavies in FS9- right now all i have the the PMDG 737.How do I get PIC working in FS9?TIA,Tim

Hi Tim,There is a post here dated back to the timeframe when FS9 was first released. It's a "hacked" (meant in a nice way :) ) version of PIC that creates dockable windows for the guages that are otherwise transparent. It's one of those threads that grew to be very long, but I can't recall the poster's name. Then, as the other poster here siad, thre is a V2 in the works, but so far no date on release etc., I don't know if it's even at beta yet.Bruce.

Simbird was his/her name I do believe. I now run PIC in FS9 exclusively with this mod, and use my second monitor to display the FMC, EADI/EHSI and EICAS undocked windows. It took a little getting used to, but I'm growing quite fond of this ugly duckling. Functionally it behaves with the same fidelity it did in FS2002, at least as far as I can tell.Whatever makes you tick I guess.Gary
