November 17, 200322 yr Someone on the PMDG forum mentioned that a new version of the 767 was on the way. Is this true or were they just 'avin a giggle?
November 17, 200322 yr Giggling...It IS true, and we used to have a pinned topic here, but Wade (one of the developers) got tired of looking at it, and it's no longer pinned :D.Tero PPL(A)

November 18, 200322 yr I was wondering, since there has been a lot of talk of ppl wanting to have a payware 757 panel, how hard it would be to put the 757 in the 767PIC V2 when it comes out instead of merging some other 757 into it ourselves. Would it be that difficult? Judging by the way soem people want PMDG to do a 757 I would think the 767 V2 would be that much bigger of a seller if they placed the 757 in there to since the cockpits are virtually identical unless the 767 V2 is representing the 767-400 panel.
November 18, 200322 yr Commercial Member From what I understand, Wade was originally going to release a 757 with the 763.That plan has changed. Therefore, there will only be a 763 version 2 for FS9. Only? That's MORE THAN ENOUGH. In my opinion, releasing ONE aircraft is a smart move. One product is difficult to support, especially one with so many complex systems modelled (and so many computer systems running the program)(and so many high expectations on this product). The 767v2 team is taking their time with ONE aircraft - getting it as right as possible. Finally, as Boeing has shutdown production of the 757 - it may be fitting that the team will not be releasing a 757.Daryl ShuttleworthDS 3339http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg The SUPPORT FORUM for Level-D Simulations products: http://www.leveldsim.com/forums
