Patch for 767 and FS2004

Featured Replies

Would some one direct me to the link to download the patch to get 767 up and running on FS2004? I go to initial training on the 757 in January and need to get some procedural training before I go. I can be reached at [email protected]. Thanks Will

lol. this is so funny on so many levels.

UHHHHHHHHHHI don't get why? Please tell!WillOH, I think I might have just figured it out. Is it because this is a Wilco forum and if someone were to direct me to a piece of software that would preclude me from having to re-purchase PIC 767 AGAIN? I will re purchase but I still as stated need to get it up and running ASAP.

A support forum is for those who need answers not for those who know it all!I think no such thing exists. Wilco's site makes no mention of one. I tried PIC out in FS 2004 and not a single gauge works. A whole lot of work is required to get PIC up and running in FS2004 so I think you can forget it. It took a long long time to get it to work in FS2002. Get a copy of FS2002 and install it into that.I just bought a copy of PDMG's 737 600/700 only to find that it doesn't work in my system at all. They make you pay for the whole thing to get a 10 day trial before you must register it. This is a very costly way to find out it doesn't work. Their registration system is like Windows Product Activation; if you change your system in any way you must unregister and re-register...ARRRRRGGGGHHH. After 5 hours of mucking around I finally gave up!I am not using it......ever!God bless,Bernie

http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/49759.gifGod bless you Bernie,Perhaps you are not reading previous posts very carefully. If that's the case, let me state for the record: There is NO SUPPORTED VERSION of the PIC767 for FS2004 available. This issue has been beaten to death with a stick six ways to Sunday. Even God knows that the PIC isn't compatible with FS2004. She is happily using FS2002 until the NEW VERSION is released for FS2004.Perhaps you'd be better served to SEARCH the forum before you ask questions that have been answered many times (on the front page alone at least 5 or so). Finally, the PMDG forum is next door.Daryl ShuttleworthDS 3339http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg

I think you have insulted me but I'm not sure. Of course I searched this forum! THAT'S WHY I MADE THE POST! I've run across many postings of people working out bugs with the product and 2004. They make new bitmap guages, etc. Thats all I wanted to know. I used the product to learn how to fly the 737-800 (yeah, the real one). Now I need it for the 757 (real). I would never write or speak down to you because I thought you were less informed than me. Do you think I tell passengers or my First Officer not to ask a question because I have been asked it before? I'm an amature flight sim user. I learned to fly instruments on Flight Sim 1. I have owned nearly EVERY sim and every available system since. It was just an innocent question. I'm not angry although this posting may reflect the fact. Get real.Over.

Wow guys, was all this really necessary? He asked a question... Answer it or step out.Daniel P.

Will; If you want to use the PIC add-on as a procedural trainer, you can buy a copy of FS2002 and install it into FS2002, or you can get a copy of Lonny Payne's 757 panel for FS2004. FS2002 is still being sold, at a reduced price. For the purposes you describe it will suffice nicely. If you're hard-over about FS9, you have a long and frustrating road ahead of you...RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Washington, D.C.
