June 15, 200421 yr I tried a few minutes ago and got the "Net Timeout Error" again. No acess to www.navdata.at anymore.Result of tracert www.navdata.at:Rastreando a rota para www.navdata.at [80.243.163.31]com no m
June 15, 200421 yr A significant number of ISP's block ping/traceroute due to abuse issues with equipment on their network, or use RFC1918 IP addresses on their infrastructure which would also appear to be timeouts/unreachable but isn't really when you attempt another port. From a DOS window type "telnet 80.243.163.31 80". The screen should quickly flash "attempting to connect" and then go blank. Type "GET / HTTP1/0". If you get data and then go back to a prompt, then you are in fact connecting. I don't believe Richard is intentionally blocking anyone, so I would work with your ISP to troubleshoot further if you aren't getting through at this point.Luck,P

By the way, me and some friends are able to acess the www.navdata.at site tonight. It's now 2215Z and no problem to reach the site. Thanks for the attention,
June 16, 200421 yr Greetings. The reason I suggested you might want to contact your ISP is that they likely have the additional tools and contacts with other ISPs to track down the problem and have it fixed, even if the problem is on the far end. And if the problem is at the far end, your ISP working with Richard's ISP would be able to fix it for a number of users, not just you.I'm glad to hear that things are working for you now though.Take care,P

They took one month to change the speed from 256 to 512 Kbps, and didn't take longer because the request was deviated by a friend of my father the head-manager of the company in my city. But it's the only broadband provider in my neighborhood, so, it's dial-up or them...Coming back to the navdata acess problem, some people here in Brazil are getting upset WITHOUT REASON. They didn't and don't read what Richard says here, that he has no personal objection with the Brazilians. These people don't know what's really going on and they're saying stupidies, what is bad for for Richard, for navdata users worldwide, and to Brazilians flightsimmers too.
