November 20, 200421 yr Looking for help manipulatng the left rear and right rear views so that I can sit over the wing. Is this possible in FS2002? From the cockpit, the left rear view in PIC767, for example, shows a bitmap of the inside of the cockpit window with a view as would be seen with the pilot having his head turned to the left/rear. Is it possible to change the left rear view from the cockpit to become a "spot" view situated over the wing?Am I out to lunch?Been flying the IFDG scarebus with an Eric Marciano panel which has a fantastic wing view option for the left/right rear views by adding the following text to the panel.cfg...I edited the "eye" numbers a little to get me behind the wing looking slightly forward... VIEW_REAR_LEFT_WINDOWS=36VIEW_REAR_LEFT_ZOOM=0.84VIEW_REAR_LEFT_EYE=2.0, +1.2, -20.0,7VIEW_REAR_LEFT_DIR=10.0, 0.0, 295.VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_WINDOWS=37VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_ZOOM=0.84VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_EYE=-1.0, +1.1, -20.0,7VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_DIR=10.0, 0.0, 65.0Hoping this is possible to acheive in PIC-2002 panel.cfg? The formate looks very different in FS2004 vs. FS2002.Any input appreciated.Rob. System specs: Dual core E6300 (1.86g X 2), 2gb RAM, nvidea7800GT, Saitek yoke, CH throttle (6 lever), Soundblaster live.Add-ons: FSX: LDS767, FSL Concorde, FT E175/195, PMDG 747X/737X, Active Sky E, some freeware airports.Human specs: Desktop simulation since FS1, beta tester (LDS, FSL), 737NG simulator tech (Threshold Aviation), r sole+.
November 21, 200421 yr The format is the same in FS2002, but probably you have to add some of the VIEW_REAR_xxx entries as they are not there in the original panel.cfg.Regards, Matthias
