May 7, 200521 yr I have read the list of what is in the patch but I cannot see if sid's have been added to the FMC database. The product it excellent but must be the only comparable product that does not have a comprehensive database of sid's for the FMC.Am I right.
May 7, 200521 yr 84 airports already in the database, still growing and available on the Level-D Simulations Flying Club website (unofficial) :http://www.ldsflyingclub.com/
May 8, 200521 yr huh...in other words that would be a 'NO'this product does not include such items, nor does the patch. Now it appears that this item is not being considered by the developers. CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro | GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K
May 8, 200521 yr Commercial Member It has never been promised or offered as a part of the product.http://www.pic767flyingclub.com/siggies/ds.jpg The SUPPORT FORUM for Level-D Simulations products: http://www.leveldsim.com/forums
May 8, 200521 yr What Daryl said. Also, after the initial release it has been exhaustively discussed and explained at the customer support forum (also in the public side!), why it is not feasible for a project like this to also program all the world's procedures into a database.SIDS & STARS can be easily shared with PROCIO, and making them yourself is a breeze with the FMC.Tero PPL(A)
May 8, 200521 yr I hear what you say but why should I pay LSD for a product and then have add to it to make it comparable with such products as PMDG and PSS.In spite of this it is a very good product but one which I have uninstalled for this very reason and because of their unwillingness to allow would be buyers the opportunity to read their support froum.
May 8, 200521 yr Not to get into a debate about product versus product but the PMDG did not come with an all inclusive SID/STAR database when it was first released. It has been added to by users and by some talented people who converted DAFIF data. The LDS database is also growing and will continue to grow. But, as others have said, a worldwide SID/STAR database was never promised or advertised as being included in the product.
May 11, 200521 yr Hi,apart from the aircraft exceeding max bank angle at various random turns I really have no problems with the LDS767.Is this a case of "if it ain't _really_ broke don't fix it? :-hah Cheers! :-beerchugTony
