October 3, 200520 yr Hi,Well, no mistake at all. I can assure you that modeling an EPR based engine is nothing less of a HUGE effort. As FS default EPR values are useless, you need to program them by code from different .air file source tables. And you'll have to do some modifications on those tables as well. In the end, after playing for a couple+ months or so, maybe you'll get a nice working EPR gauge, that fits FM figures pretty good :-)Until now, I believe big jet's developers gave priority to put on the market a stable performing aircraft with at least one type of engine working by the numbers. The point is, there are some airliners (ie 757) that use mostly -if not exclusively- EPR based engines. Now I guess they have no chances but stick to the tough work :-) Tom
October 4, 200520 yr Hmmm. Odd. Never had that issue. My alarm clock beeps though and usually it keeps doing so till i turn it off. Annoying bug I haven't fixed yet.How much memory do you have? I know when my computer had only a gig and it ran low on memory i'd get some pretty wierd side effects, sounds sticking being one of them.I just did a 14 hour non-stop from Paris to Los Angeles. College had me during the cruise and I had a friend here babysit the plane and call me at school if anything went wrong. Fortunately nothing did and my friend also enjoyed the in-flight DVD's :-) LOL he has a fear of flying in real life, so my having do things in the simulator is slowly alleviating that problem. he doesnt know this, but in 2 weeks I am taking him on an intro flight at the local FBO. :-)Hey, LDS - grats on your software being a first step to helping someone cure their fear of flying **smiles**<<<<>>>> -- to correct the most silly spelling errors I have ever made.
