Adding brake sound

Featured Replies

I have a neat brake sound .wav file - which may or may not be authentic sounding, and which may or may not be audible from the flightdeck in the real world - which I would like to add to my 767.Can anyone tell me how to do this please?

Any reason you're not asking this on their forum http://www.leveldsim.com/forums ?

This is the unofficial forum, where I understand legitimate purchasers of the software can, if they wish, raise questions that may well not be appropriate in the official forum. The use of a non-LevelD file will certainly constitute a breach of, well, something, and may very well not be answered to my satisfaction. Is there any particular reason why you, Sir, are browsing this forum, and not the official one? Are you able to offer a helpful answer to my question, so that I may enhance an already excellent and enjoyable aircraft with a small, non-standard, sound file?

I don't know why your question can't be asked on the Level D forum. In your initial post, you didn't state what you have here. At least it would have made clear the reason you asked here instead of at the Level D forum, which was my question.>Is there any particular reason why you, Sir, are browsing this>forum, and not the official one? I browse both. Like you, I am a legitimate purchaser of the 767-300. Reasons I browse here are:1. I find here sometimes people post because they are unaware of the other one (or so they say). This is not my primary reason for reading this forum;2. Sometimes people post for reasons other than asking a question. >Are you able to offer a helpful answer to my question, so that>I may enhance an already excellent and enjoyable aircraft with>a small, non-standard, sound file? You, sir, seem quick to take umbrage with my reply. Maybe you're having a bad day. Or maybe I'm reading a tone that's not there. I'll give you the benefit a doubt. In any event, my intention was to be helpful. Please don't assign any other motive.Any thing else you'd like to ask?===================================================================If you find a way to add this, I hope you'll post about it here, even if it is a link to a Level D thread. I miss brake sounds, and I'd be interested.
