Continental,AA,United Timetable Downloads???

Recommended Posts

Hey all, I am looking for Times for like Continental or AA, UA, For Departure's or Arrival times to Asia or U.K ares. I am using the World Ai2 Ai Flight plans for Ai Traffic but it does not have all the Flight's to the Asia Ares. I went on Airliners.Net and saw that Continental had 777 Fligt's to Paris,VHHH, etc.....but do not know what time these Flight's depart or arrive at thier destination's? And IAn Webber's Ai Plans do not have these Flight's in there so i would like to add them, I went to Continental Web site to download the timetable, but it gave me an error, so i can't get those flight time's?? If anyone has info on these kind of flight's or has the electronic timtable would you kindly send it to me so i can add these flight's into FS! I would really apprecite it! Thank's MIKE-:)

United has various methods of getting their worldwide timetable. I use the Windows version and update monthly. It's their entire timetable, seating maps, connecting flights, etc. Pretty much everything.Go to http://ual.com and click on Electronic Timetable][/b under Planning Travel, or click that link and go directly to the DL's page.

You're in luck. I just finished fixing up the 777 portion on my copy of Stottlemire's COA flightplans this morning. It is based on the last published paper timetable from last fall. Copy and paste to your own text file from here.AC#386,N27015,1%,WEEK,IFR,1/12:09:00,14:56:00, 350 ,F,211,KIAH,1/17:28:00,20:15:00, 370 ,F,40,KEWR,2/00:45:00,07:58:00, 370 ,F,50,EDDF,2/11:30:00,18:43:00, 360 ,F,51,KEWR,3/00:45:00,07:58:00, 370 ,F,50,EDDF,3/11:30:00,18:43:00, 360 ,F,51,KEWR,4/00:45:00,07:58:00, 370 ,F,50,EDDF,4/11:30:00,18:43:00, 360 ,F,51,KEWR,5/00:45:00,07:58:00, 370 ,F,50,EDDF,5/11:30:00,18:43:00, 360 ,F,51,KEWR,6/00:45:00,07:58:00, 370 ,F,50,EDDF,6/11:30:00,18:43:00, 360 ,F,51,KEWR,0/00:45:00,07:58:00, 370 ,F,50,EDDF,0/11:30:00,18:43:00, 360 ,F,51,KEWRAC#386,N57016,1%,WEEK,IFR,0/17:09:00,19:56:00, 370 ,F,40,KEWR,1/00:45:00,07:58:00, 370 ,F,50,EDDF,1/11:30:00,18:43:00, 360 ,F,51,KEWR,1/21:59:00,00:46:00, 350 ,F,63,KIAH,2/21:50:00,06:49:00, 370 ,F,34,EGKK,3/09:40:00,18:39:00, 360 ,F,35,KIAH,3/21:50:00,06:49:00, 370 ,F,34,EGKK,4/09:40:00,18:39:00, 360 ,F,35,KIAH,4/21:50:00,06:49:00, 370 ,F,34,EGKK,5/09:40:00,18:39:00, 360 ,F,35,KIAH,5/21:50:00,06:49:00, 370 ,F,34,EGKK,6/09:40:00,18:39:00, 360 ,F,35,KIAHAC#386,N77014,1%,WEEK,IFR,5/13:00:00,15:47:00, 350 ,F,211,KIAH,5/19:12:00,21:59:00, 370 ,F,50,KEWR,6/00:55:00,07:26:00, 350 ,F,28,EGKK,6/11:15:00,17:46:00, 360 ,F,29,KEWR,0/00:55:00,07:26:00, 350 ,F,28,EGKK,0/11:15:00,17:46:00, 360 ,F,29,KEWR,1/00:55:00,07:26:00, 350 ,F,28,EGKK,1/11:15:00,17:46:00, 360 ,F,29,KEWR,2/00:55:00,07:26:00, 350 ,F,28,EGKK,2/11:15:00,17:46:00, 360 ,F,29,KEWR,3/00:55:00,07:26:00, 350 ,F,28,EGKK,3/11:15:00,17:46:00, 360 ,F,29,KEWR,4/11:15:00,17:46:00, 350 ,F,28,EGKK,4/11:15:00,17:46:00, 360 ,F,29,KEWRAC#386,N78004,1%,WEEK,IFR,4/13:48:00,16:35:00, 350 ,F,211,KIAH,4/19:14:00,22:01:00, 370 ,F,50,KEWR,5/00:55:00,07:26:00, 350 ,F,28,EGKK,5/11:15:00,17:46:00, 360 ,F,29,KEWR,6/01:00:00,07:49:00, 370 ,F,56,LFPG,6/13:20:00,20:09:00, 360 ,F,57,KEWR,0/01:00:00,07:49:00, 370 ,F,56,LFPG,0/13:20:00,20:09:00, 360 ,F,57,KEWR,1/01:00:00,07:49:00, 370 ,F,56,LFPG,1/13:20:00,20:09:00, 360 ,F,57,KEWR,2/01:00:00,07:49:00, 370 ,F,56,LFPG,2/13:20:00,20:09:00, 360 ,F,57,KEWR,3/01:00:00,07:49:00, 370 ,F,56,LFPG,3/13:20:00,20:09:00, 360 ,F,57,KEWRAC#386,N77006,1%,WEEK,IFR,0/16:35:00,07:21:00, 350 ,F,99,VHHH,2/04:05:00,18:51:00, 370 ,F,98,KEWR,3/16:35:00,07:21:00, 350 ,F,99,VHHH,5/04:05:00,18:51:00, 370 ,F,98,KEWR,6/01:20:00,07:37:00, 350 ,F,20,EGCC,6/11:10:00,17:27:00, 360 ,F,21,KEWRAC#386,N78009,1%,WEEK,IFR,0/01:20:00,07:37:00, 370 ,F,20,EGCC,0/11:10:00,17:27:00, 360 ,F,21,KEWR,1/16:35:00,07:21:00, 350 ,F,99,VHHH,3/04:05:00,18:51:00, 370 ,F,98,KEWR,4/16:35:00,07:21:00, 350 ,F,99,VHHH,6/04:05:00,18:51:00, 370 ,F,98,KEWRAC#386,N78013,1%,WEEK,IFR,0/04:05:00,18:51:00, 370 ,F,98,KEWR,1/01:20:00,07:37:00, 350 ,F,20,EGCC,1/11:10:00,17:27:00, 360 ,F,21,KEWR,2/16:35:00,07:21:00, 350 ,F,99,VHHH,4/04:05:00,18:51:00, 370 ,F,98,KEWR,5/16:35:00,07:21:00, 350 ,F,99,VHHHAC#386,N78001,1%,WEEK,IFR,0/15:25:00,03:46:00, 350 ,F,9,RJAA,1/08:40:00,21:01:00, 370 ,F,8,KEWR,2/01:20:00,07:37:00, 350 ,F,20,EGCC,2/11:10:00,17:27:00, 360 ,F,21,KEWR,3/15:25:00,03:46:00, 350 ,F,9,RJAA,4/08:40:00,21:01:00, 370 ,F,8,KEWR,5/15:25:00,03:46:00, 350 ,F,9,RJAA,6/08:40:00,21:01:00, 370 ,F,8,KEWRAC#386,N78002,1%,WEEK,IFR,0/08:40:00,21:01:00, 370 ,F,8,KEWR,1/15:25:00,03:46:00, 350 ,F,9,RJAA,2/08:40:00,21:01:00, 370 ,F,8,KEWR,3/01:20:00,07:37:00, 350 ,F,20,EGCC,3/11:10:00,17:27:00, 360 ,F,21,KEWR,4/15:25:00,03:46:00, 350 ,F,9,RJAA,5/08:40:00,21:01:00, 370 ,F,8,KEWR,6/15:25:00,03:46:00, 350 ,F,9,RJAAAC#386,N78003,1%,WEEK,IFR,0/15:40:00,02:09:00, 370 ,F,90,LLBG,1/21:55:00,08:24:00, 360 ,F,91,KEWR,2/15:40:00,02:09:00, 370 ,F,90,LLBG,3/21:55:00,08:24:00, 360 ,F,91,KEWR,4/15:40:00,02:09:00, 370 ,F,90,LLBG,5/21:55:00,08:24:00, 360 ,F,91,KEWRAC#386,N78005,1%,WEEK,IFR,0/21:55:00,08:24:00, 360 ,F,91,KEWR,1/15:40:00,02:09:00, 370 ,F,90,LLBG,2/21:55:00,08:24:00, 360 ,F,91,KEWR,3/15:40:00,02:09:00, 370 ,F,90,LLBG,4/21:55:00,08:24:00, 360 ,F,91,KEWR,6/15:40:00,02:09:00, 370 ,F,90,LLBGAC#386,N78008,1%,WEEK,IFR,0/21:50:00,06:49:00, 370 ,F,34,EGKK,1/09:40:00,18:39:00, 360 ,F,35,KIAH,1/21:50:00,06:49:00, 370 ,F,34,EGKK,2/09:40:00,18:39:00, 360 ,F,35,KIAH,3/00:45:00,09:44:00, 370 ,F,4,EGKK,3/12:00:00,20:59:00, 360 ,F,5,KIAH,4/00:50:00,10:08:00, 370 ,F,10,LFPG,4/12:40:00,21:58:00, 360 ,F,11,KIAH,5/00:50:00,10:08:00, 370 ,F,10,LFPG,5/12:40:00,21:58:00, 360 ,F,11,KIAH,6/00:45:00,09:44:00, 370 ,F,4,EGKK,6/12:00:00,20:59:00, 360 ,F,5,KIAHAC#386,N76010,1%,WEEK,IFR,0/09:40:00,18:39:00, 360 ,F,35,KIAH,1/00:45:00,09:44:00, 370 ,F,4,EGKK,1/12:00:00,20:59:00, 360 ,F,5,KIAH,2/00:45:00,09:44:00, 370 ,F,4,EGKK,2/12:00:00,20:59:00, 360 ,F,5,KIAH,3/00:50:00,10:08:00, 370 ,F,10,LFPG,3/12:40:00,21:58:00, 360 ,F,11,KIAH,4/00:45:00,09:44:00, 370 ,F,4,EGKK,4/12:00:00,20:59:00, 360 ,F,5,KIAH,5/00:45:00,09:44:00, 370 ,F,4,EGKK,5/12:00:00,20:59:00, 360 ,F,5,KIAH,6/21:50:00,06:49:00, 370 ,F,34,EGKK

I just phoned the airlines and asked them to send me copies of their timetables, and all of them did. Some asked me to use their website instead, but after explaining that I frequently fly to destinations that are between two airports, the whole process of checking availability on different routes just takes too long. Just take Oxford as an example: The most convenient airport would be London Heathrow, but Birmingham is also OK, London Gatwick does have a direct train link to Oxford, which compensates for the extra distance, but Stansted, Luton, and London City are out of the question - in the case of City airport, it would just take too long to get through Central London. In the case of Continental, they used to have non-stop services from Newark to Stansted, Gatwick and Birmingham. There is no way you can refine the search on the website to give you the desired result of Gatwick and Birmingham. So, there is still a need for printed timetables - .pdf is ok, but not as convenient as having a little book to browse through (You need a computer, for starters...)Cheers,Gosta.

Gosta,I just use the timetable programs they all are going to. In the case of United, I just enter the two airports or cities I want to travel to/from and it lists all possible ways.I used to collect timetables, but since flights change daily, this is just far easier.I do agree that the websites are terrible. When United had "United Connection", a PC program that gave a myriad of options and settings, and all the world's airlines and flights and possibilities, it was a breeze. So replacing it with the timetables program is just as good. When I'm happy with a plan, I then can go online, or do it from the program, or call them up.

Hi Scott, I agree, the online timetables can be quite useful, if they have direct flights between the two cities. But if it involves a stopover, things can get messy. Take AA - I wanted to get a quote to go from Vancouver to Dusseldorf. I know they don't operate a direct flight, but they used to fly non-stop from Chicago to Dusseldorf (Now United operates that flight, but with a stopover in Washington). AA's suggested route was CYVR-KDFW-KSTL-EGKK/EGLL-EDDL. Not exactly the quickest way, especially as it involved getting from Heathrow to Gatwick (or vice versa) in 30 minutes. United routed me via Chicago, but with only 20 minutes in which to change planes - I may be wrong, but I think US/Canada and international flights operate from different terminals, plus there's the added security. I then tried KLM non-stop from here to Amsterdam. First, their site wouldn't let me book flights from North America and redirected me to the Northwest site, that came up with two pages of flights with one or more stopovers, before it offered the direct flight (despite checking the option 'show direct flights only'). The whole thing took over an hour, while flipping through three timetables would have only taken me a couple of minutes. I know airlines change their flights daily, but the vast majority of flights remains the same, so the timetable would still be useful. Also, what's up with the amount of cookies, airline websites want to put on your computer? Feels like big brother is watching you - I thought, in the current economic climate they would want to entice customers, not scare them away. Cheers,Gosta.

Gosta,Try travelocity.com and expedia.com and orbitz.com and see what you get.Somewhere there has to be a good site. I don't know because I have a personal travel agent.I look forward to your results if you do so.

Hi Scott,I tried them, and all in all they were a bit easier to use than the airlines' own websites. With travelocity, the problem was the availability of special fares - it gave me a choice of dates on which those fares are available, but when I selected any of them, I was told it was sold out for that day. I then just selected my preferred date, regardless of the fare, and for around $900 I would have been on my way from CYVR to EDDL with Lufthansa via EDDF. Expedia.com was cookies galore! I the first bombardement, it told me it thought I was in Canada, would I therefore wish to visit the Canadian site? Well, yes, but IE froze up under the cookie attack that followed, so I took EndItAll to it and started again at expedia.ca. From then on it was very straightforward. Select the departure dates, and it came up with very reasonable flights, the best offer being British Airways for around $850 with a changeover at Heathrow (2 hours to spare, which is fairly reasonable). Orbitz was not much use to me, as it only allows you to book flights from the US. But I tried it anyway, going from Seattle to Dusseldorf. The cheapest was Northwest for around $900 (can't remember the stopover, either Frankfurt or Amsterdam). But, it also had one flight via Vancouver, in fact the same Lufthansa flight I found on Travelocity, but with a connecting flight from Seattle operated by Alaska Airlines. This came to $1900 - a cool $1000 more for a 20minute connecting flight! All in all, I'd say Expedia was the easiest to use, Travelocity having the problem with date selection for special fares - why can't it just display the dates on which there are seats available up front? Orbitz was also easy to use, the only problem being that it offers travel from the US only. All of them, unlike the airlines, actually offered sensible connections, rather than the scenic tour of the US suggested by AA, or the lightning-speed changeover United found perfectly reasonable...Cheers,Gosta.
