PA A-320 and PSS panel?

Featured Replies

Is there any special secret to combining the PSS panel with the Project Airbus A-320? I always think of the great thing Lee Hetherington did for us with his PIC/Posky merge files. Does the airbus/Pss merge need this kind of attention?Lee

I figured out how to put the PSS cockpit gauges into the PA A320 virtual cockpit tonight. You basically copy the PSS cockpit to your PA A320 directory, rename it panel.2, then point your panel= section of your aircraft.cfg to the that panel. Then add the following text to your newly copied panel.2 panel.cfg. What you wind up with is the PSS gauges on the left side cockpit and center console, with the regular VC gauges on the copilot side. Works fine.NOTE: You need to copy $mfd.bmp and $mfdzwo.bmp from your PA A320 panel directory over to the panel.2 directory as well. This is a simple mod based on the vcgauges.txt file by Peter Binamura of Project Airbus. I added the bits to add the PSS gauges. I am a registered PSS owner who wishes to combine both for my personal use only. No files will be distributed by me...only the knowledge here. You'll have to make the appropriate mods to your own personal files to make it work.Eric{Vcockpit01}size_mm=1024,1024pixel_size=1024,1024texture=$mfdzwobackground_color=0,0,0visible=0gauge00=A320!airspeed, 40,190,177,180gauge01=A320!stdby Altimeter, 299,190,177,177gauge02=737-400!RMI, 55,741,132,132gauge03=737-400!Clock, 275,758,149gauge04=airbus.mA320!Standby Attitude, 46,490,152gauge05=airbus.mgear_320!Left Gear Light, 736,10,42,45gauge06=airbus.mgear_320!Nose Gear Light, 855,10,45,49gauge07=airbus.mgear_320!Right Gear Light, 964,10,45,49gauge08=737-400.autopilot, -102,-135,743,208{Vcockpit02}file=$mfd.bmp size_mm=1024,1024pixel_size=1024,1024texture=$mfdbackground_color=0,0,0visible=0//pilot and copilot PFD displaysgauge00=PSS-a320!VCpfd, 37,50,287,270gauge01=airbus.mGABPFD, 35,396,287,270//Pilot and copilot ND displaysgauge02=PSS-a320!VCnd, 355,38,308,280gauge03=oba320_nd, 353,390,300,270//Center console EWD and SD displaysgauge04=PSS-a320!VCecam1, 693,42,304,274gauge05=PSS-a320!VCecam2, 690,365,312,306gauge06=FPDA_A320_vs, 297,88,15,173gauge07=FPDA_A320_vs, 296,430,15,179guid=bc4d75fc5795bfe7bb1653ebc2e51a7f
