September 26, 200322 yr Could anyone tell me how to access the aviation charts for the airports in Germany. I go the the VATSIM site for Germany and everytime I click on the link for the charts for German airports, I get a page telling me something to the effect to not link to this page and to go make my own? I don't understand why they would tell us to go make our own? Every other region on the VATSIM network seems to happily let us download charts. Thanks for any input on this issue. Eric
September 28, 200322 yr Hi Eric, thanks for your interest in our charts. The problem you described can be easily solved (and explained) as it is related to your firewall settings. You need to configure your firewall to let the "HTTP_REFERER" value pass through. This information should be in the docs for your firewall. If not, feel free to ask here and we will be glad to help you out. This value tells our website from where you are accessing the charts file. We just want to prevent that other websites link directly to specific charts on our site, it is not intended to restrict access for VATSIM users. If you have further questions, feel free to ask here or Cheers, Martin Georg/EDDF Contributing editor, FS-Magazin
