FS Crashes during some online events

Featured Replies

I've been flying online for a while, but recently during busyflying events, FS has frozen and then crashed with the usualerror report applet. The error seems to relate to a module bythe name of G3d.dll or similar (sorry forgot to note down the exactname). The crash seems to take place when I get near the destinationairport where there are other planes in the vicinity and possiblywhen another player enters the session. The question is, could this crash have anything to do with "non-standard" aircraft shapes being used by other pilots?Anyway, would be grateful for any advice on this matter.Regards & thanks in advance.Joaquin

I think that is a symptom of low system resources, particularly graphics resources. You don't say what OS you are running not what your system specs are but from the description of when the crashes occur I would try reducing your FS display sliders quite a bit and trying again.

VulcanThanks for your reply. I think I found what the problemwas. I scanned all the bgl's and found quite a few incorrect ones. All seems to be OK now (keep fingers crossed). Graphicsresources problem not realistic since I've got one of thelatest high end systems.Joaquin>I think that is a symptom of low system resources,>particularly graphics resources.>>You don't say what OS you are running not what your system>specs are but from the description of when the crashes occur I>would try reducing your FS display sliders quite a bit and>trying again.
