Howdy,When I try to pull up the newsgroups, I get the following message:502 You have no permission to talk {},adsl-xx-xx-xxx-xxx.dsl.lgvwtx.swbell.net Goodbye(the x's are where my address appeared)I *was* going to see of there were any announcements that might indicate a good place to fly...There was some talk a while back about going to a moderated forum, but there's nothing on vatsim.net's front page about that having been done, yet. Simflight website is up with nothing on front page about NGs being down, so...Anybody know what's up?

If you go to the main simflight web page you will see that their news server gave up the ghost and will not be renewed so news.simflight.com no longer exists.No news yet if VATSIM will establish another ng elsewhere.HTH

I don't know about the others as VATUSA and various centers were hosted there.Great communication.

With the closing of the newsgroups it has become necessary for VATSIM to move the main gathering point for our members to the VATSIM Support Forum at Avsim.com.
