During Vatsim events, I've been having trouble withother aircraft plowing into me on the taxiways.Can I avoid this by going squawkmode Con pushback?I've always thought you had to wait till runway threshold before squawking. What's the protocol?Thanks in advance.Slugger

You set Squawk mode C once entering the runway or as soon as you exit it. I have aircraft crashes turned off, learned after many a time sitting at the gate getting ready and then someone logs in parked on top of me. Real fun, not. So I have turned off collisions with aircraft = crash option.
