Setting Up LEDS's ifor Autopilot in FSBus Router

Featured Replies

Hi All...I am using built in LEDS's to my AP momentary switches.I have flashed and all the LEDS work when I do the test. How do I set the LEDS in FSRouter to come on when I push my AP switches on/off...I have tried adding the AP feature in the LED destination box..but can't get the LED to come on...I'm sure I am doing something wrong ? If you have any suggestions I would be grateful...many thanks...JB

Add new LED with right click in the left column of FSBUS programmselect the corresponding ID, row & subselect source as FS.Stadard.AP.APMaster (look on the tree.menu)set min = 1, max = 0, invert NO, active YESThen on your AP switch controller select the destination to your AP LED you've just created before. You can test the LED and connection with the two buttonof the programm who simulate the switch.of course the FS & Router blue flag must be activeByeBOBIf it still dont work explain me more precisely the problems

Thanks Bob...that got it...they work a treat now...JB

Hi, I also use the built-in pushbutton's leds for my MCP's. So when i push the V/S pushbutton it activates also the built in led, etc.But i noticed that when i have all the leds on (or many of them), the brightness is too low. It seems that the power is not enought to support all the leds. I'm using FsBus with FsLed for the MCP Leds. Do you have the same problem, or i have done something wrong with my Fsled circuit?RegardsEddie ArmaosAthens-Greece

What type of power supply are you using ?Tension (Volts) & Current (Amp.) ?BOB

I use a custom made power supply with 2 outputs. One gives 9v for FsBus Com and the other 5v for Redecs. The Power supply is 2A and it works fine (i think :-) )Maybe there is an issue among the rows in FsLed? One gives more power than the other? Eddie ArmaosAthens-Greece

Hi Eddie...yes my LED's are somehwat dim...I am not to worried about them because I can still see them on or off...thanks..JB

Hello,i have seen this dim effect on some controllers. This can be easily solved. The reason is a little low dimensioned base current thru the transistors. You may change the 4 * 33k to ~4k7. 33k only works fine with a high beta factor transistor.Good luckDirk
