November 27, 200421 yr Well that's depends. My cats have chewed through a large number of my cables, and pretty much all my displays, and buttons and led's have been affected.lots of desoldering, and resoldering to do.Not a happy chappy.tomorrow I was going to take it all to a flight simmers break up bbq, but now that nothing really works, there is no point.
November 27, 200421 yr I remember, It is about 25 years ago, my son was 7 years old, I did build a huge miniature train circuit with a lot of electronics working below the plates where the train was build.I had the same surprise one morning because we did forget to close to door to that room and had a very young cat.I can understand what you feel.GreetingsRoger
November 27, 200421 yr I am a dog man and not a cat lover...so you know what I would do to those cats...John JohnMy first SIM was a Link Trainer. My last was a T-6 IIAMD Ryzen 7 7800 X3D@ 5.1 GHz, 32 GB DDR5 RAM - 3 M2 Drives. 1 TB Boot, 2 TB Sim drive, 2 TB Add-on Drive, 6TB Backup data hard driveRTX 3080 10GB VRAM, Meta Quest 3 VR Headset
December 3, 200421 yr If my cat do that to my A320 MIP (the only part built actually), I would :1-Put him in a box (made of MDF,only diamond can cut the diamond).2-Stamp it correctly3-carry it to Post office4-Expedite him somewhere nearby Siberia and Mongolia. In the meantime I really do love my cat.... Damn if Scott/IFS was reading that, he would probably remove me from its customers list ! -Jerome "In thrust we trust"
December 3, 200421 yr Well although I hate to admit it, that did cross my mind, having said that, I've desoldered all the spaghetti that i was using, and now focusing on using ribbon cable as it's a lot tidier.
