>back again :()>>what version of acrobat do you use for making pdfs? Mine full>Acrobat v.5 can't open them :(( Maybe resaveing them in as>v4 compatible would help guys with older readers or acrobats?>>DanThey are in Acrobat 6 format. It offers better compressabilityand hence less bandwidth consumption. You can download Acrobat Reader 6 version free. Thanks for notice. I'll put this note on website pages.

Hi Meandog,This is great news! I love new productsJust reading your website, I was wondering: if FS doesn't support more than 32 buttons per joystick, what's the solution? It uses DX9, isn'####?

Any plans on distribution and sales in the US? Would really like to use your board on a new helicopter simulator we're working on for a customer but do not have the ability to build up a boad from scratch so to speak. You board has by far more features than anything commercially available right now. Thanks:Cat

"Just reading your website, I was wondering: if FS doesn't support more than 32 buttons per joystick, what's the solution?"There is freeware available - Mindaugas mentions Leo Lacava's "Keyboard Studio" which I also use, but there are others as well - that will intercept the button pushes that FS doesn't see and convert them to a keyboard input. In other words, you assign button 33 to "Ctrl-L" in Keyboard Studio, and when you push button 33, instead of FS getting a joystick button press, it sees that you typed "Ctrl-L" on your keyboad, and behold, the landing lights come on (Or whatever Ctrl-L is assigned to)Richard

Tuomas:"FSUIPC should be able to do this also, no?"I don't know, and I don't have a >32 button joystick to be able to test it with. Since FSUIPC operates as a module within FS, I would 'suspect' that it can only recognize buttons that FS itself can recognize.... but Pete's a much better programmer tha me and may well have been able to find a way round that. Maybe "MeanDog" can test that out for himself on his MJoy16 and tell us?The registered version of FSUIPC allows a single keypress combination (Such as Ctrl-L) to be assigned to a button, or you can even bypass the keypress altogether and have the button send an FS control directly. The advantage of KBStudio and the like is that you can assign a string of up to 16 consecutive keypresses to a single button press, and a different string of up to 16 keypresses to the button release.I have a registered FSUIPC, but I still find KBStudio to be a usefull application. (It also works with HIDs that FS doesn't recognize at all since they're not seen as joysticks.)Richard

Excellent stuff. What's the possibility of getting a pre-built, programmed and tested board?

My sleeve of ATMega8's arrived today for the MJoy I was going to build :-(Richard

Sorry guys, missed your messages - been busy recently.I got news from Leo that he is not providing Keyboard Studio for free anymore. That's why I started my own project of freeware MJoy Mapper which does similar thing. I've released first raw beta versions on my software page. http://www.mindaugas.com/software/MJoyMapper/It currently has a distinctive feature that you can assign a target window for keypresses. In this way you can send keyboard key presses to MSFS while typing text in notepad etc.I plan to add feature of sending an assigned key string on button press or release in similar way like in KBS.Your comments and suggestions are welcome.

Mindaugaus:"I got news from Leo that he is not providing Keyboard Studio for free anymore."Is he now selling it, or has he abandoned it? If the latter, there's many people who have copies.Richard

>Is he now selling it, or has he abandoned it? If the latter,>there's many people who have copies.I don't know exactly. He has some strange licence with the software. It says its freeware but it is not free ... you must destroy it when he says that free licence has expired. ..!?!.. You may try to read and understand it yourself. I was really confused by it. You are not allowed to distribute it. I don't know what status it does or will have...Anyway I don't think it is a big deal to write a software with similar or better features if you know something about programming. That is basically what I did.
