Turning Radio Displays On/Off with FSBUS

Featured Replies

Hi all and a Happy New Year to everyone !My King Air sim is coming along. I am using FSDISP to drive 6 radios/nav displays. They work great. On my panel I have an ON/OFF switch for each radio. The way I have itr set now is I plug the FSBUS system into plug and all displays light up.What I would like to do is power up FSBUS but then be able to turn each radio disp ON/OFF as needed.Has anyone got any ideas. I have plenty of switch space left on my FSKey but not sure how to connect into FSDISPMany thanks...JB

Is there any reason it "has" to be with KSKey?? If you want the "illusion" of turning on each display separately why not just connect your on/off switch to switch the power to the PIC.... same result.

With latest Fsbus version you can have the on/off option for displays. This works fine with the main battery switch and when is off turns off all the displays. This does not works good in individual displays, in example when need to turn off the IAS display in Vnav mode.Dirk, knows the problem but we don't have a reply if and when he will fix it.Eddie ArmaosAthens-Greece
