I have a 12" TFT color touch screen. Not sure yet though how it's going to be used in the sim. Might become an instruction station.

Glad to hear you are still building.Give us some more pictures :)--Bryn

Well .. building is relative lately.I moved cuz my parents split. So I now live with my mum in a smaller house and there's no spare place for the sim so it's up in boxes on the attic. So all I can do now is gather as much real parts I can get. Gather as much usefull items I can get (like that tft and the USB-servo cards etc).Further more I can keep myself buzzy with configuring interface cards and writing software etc. Also I've been putting all panels in 3D CAD with dimensions based on some real parts I got and the fact that the panels use DZUS rails in combo with some nice pics from a real pilot .. got some nice results here. This way later on I can have all panels made.I should update the blog though. I've updated my website but no new things there. I've re-uploaded the flash swf file for the menu :$ which got lost somehow and I've added the pictures that are on the day-per-day pages to the general picture pages.

Sorry to hear about your problems Philippe. Hope you soon have the opportunity to get the sim set up again - with FSX :)--Bryn

>Just wondering if anyone's tried a touch screen.Hi Andrew,I successfully use a touch screen monitor in my home cockpit setup for MCDU operation. Here is an overview and description of my setup:http://744.hoppie.nl/pub/node/87?res=originalThe software to run this MCDU can be adapted to any flight sim, the source code in Tcl/Tk has been released under the GNU GPL and is available at http://www.hoppie.nl/mcdu/http://www.hoppie.nl/mcdu/photomcdu.jpgbest regards,Joerg.

Not sure on FSX though. I'm using FS9 for the sim now and pretty happy with it. Haven't got FS9 though .. I'll get the cd's sometime when my sim is ready :(
