April 3, 200719 yr I have tried this website in the Czech Republic (and it looks great) but their payment methods are pretty dodgy (no on-line payment system). Plus I never recieve replies to my emails. I phoned them but the person on the other end spoke no English. http://www.propagteam.cz/katalog_pristroje_en.aspDoes anyone know where I can get similar items, anywhere in the world, and that actually allow online payments and do reply to emails?many thanks, Keith. April 3, 200719 yr Well...You could try one of the distributors they list on the right side menu... There are several in many countries. Surely (!) there will be at least one selling online.George DorkofikisAthens, Hellashttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/811520/1704.png
April 3, 200719 yr Author Thanks, I checked a few and they were either foreign language or RC model aircraft. However this company http://www.falcon-aviation.com/does make instruments (scaled though). I will phone them tomorrow. Any other links would be helpful too thanks.Keith. Keith Sandford.
April 3, 200719 yr Have you tried http://www.air-crafts.de/ ?Mikewww.mikesflightdeck.comwww.mikesflightdeckbooks.com
April 4, 200719 yr Author Thanks Mike. They are a thing of beauty. But too expensive unfortunately.I only require dummy instruments as I have a full glass cockpit. I just want the instruments for realism as I'm sure you understand. Many thanks. Keith. This image shows the types of instruments I require. Keith Sandford.

April 4, 200719 yr Author Hi John. I was hoping that someone manufactured them professionaly, however, everywhere I have tried only make scale versions for models. Their is a niche in the market for this I believe as anyone can produce the glass cockpit with an extra monitor but the gauges are very difficult.I could produce my own but I require the fascias in high definition in order to print them out. I would also like them backlit so printing them onto see-thru decal sheets would be the best option. Do you have the fascias as jpeg? Thanks, Keith. Keith Sandford.
April 6, 200719 yr I have drawn some for my T-38. But, I also have taken the jpg for instruments in FS9. I think I used FS Panel and copied the jpg? I then drop them into Photoshop or TuboCad and resize them to what I need.If you print them with a laser printer onto paper, LEDs will shine through. Leave the inside edge of the frenzel cover clear and light will shile on the gauge from 360 degrees. JohnMy first SIM was a Link Trainer. April 9, 200719 yr Author Thanks for the tip John. I am having trouble getting someone to cut perspex into discs. Did you cut your own? Keith Sandford.
April 10, 200719 yr Yes! You can get sheets of different plastics from US Plastics www.usplastic.com Use a fine tooth sabar saw or band saw blade. I use hole saws to cut the holes and circles out.
