Undocked 2D panel unresponsive.
All screens are docked perfectly. My issue is that if the 2D cockpit and the VC are displayed at the same time then the 2D cockpit instruments are frozen. I'm hoping PMDG tech support might have an answer for me.

Undocked 2D panel unresponsive.
I have, as the title suggests, undocked the 2D panel and dragged onto a second monitor. I then have the VC cockpit on main screen zoomed in so that I get the DHM effects provided by Opus FSX. Now the problem being is that with the VC enabled on main screen that 2D panel s unresponsive. It's frozen in time. Is there a way to fix this?

What relevant box? Are we talking about FSUIPC?

Trying to create camera views in VC.
I have followed the tutorial and I have the dialogue box displayed which allows me to position the view, etc. however, how do I assign a keystroke to the new view? I have no option to do so. I reference the tutorial below. "Click in the upper Joystick Button / Key Sequence box to assign a joystick button" Click in the upper Joystick Button / Key Sequence box to assign a joystick button, click in the lower box to assign a key command. Any assigned key command must not be used elsewhere (FSX, FSUIPC etc.), if it is then FSX will refuse to relay the key press event to the OpusFSI interface. The OpusFSI interface will accept buttons 1 through to 32 of Joysticks 1 through to 8. All button and registered key events are displayed within the Spy window when the button or key is pressed. If they are not displayed then the joystick or button is invalid, not registered within FSX, already assigned elsewhere, or just an illegal entry.

slip-stream replied to GSalden's topic in Video Hardware: Monitors | Multi-Monitors | Video Cards | Drivers etcYou need to get a single 65" 4K curved TV and all of your problems will be solved. Assuming you're currently running 3X 1080p?

From 32 Monitor 4K to 65 TV 4K Display Port requirement?
slip-stream replied to slip-stream's topic in Video Hardware: Monitors | Multi-Monitors | Video Cards | Drivers etcThis site will not let me cut and paste text anymore,,why? Was trying to past model number but no luck. I think any of the Samsung 65 inch curved TV's will work at Nvidia settings of 60 hz and 444 color. I've just pasted your comment above. Not sure what you're talking about.

Camera options in 2D mode.
I've just realised that in 2D cockpit for outside view, I do not get any DHM at all. There is also a loss of spatial audio too. This is the PMDG 737 NGX. Would it be better to fly in the VC instead and somehow hide the majority of the cockpit so that I still get a reference for the head movement? Problem is AFAIK the only way around that is to zoom in to an unrealistic level. Any ideas?

From 32 Monitor 4K to 65 TV 4K Display Port requirement?
Was just wondering if I should be buying a TV with a display port, just as my monitor has. It seems that all the cheaper ones do not have display port as an input option.

Camera options in 2D mode.
I have the 2D MIP dragged to a second monitor and I the main screen dedicated to the outside view only. The problem I have now is having to right click to select overhead-pedestal etc and also the VC to view the TQ. Can Opus assist me in dedicating keyboard strokes to bring up these panels quickly?

2D view too low once panel dragged to 2nd monitor.
Couldn't find on search earlier, but managed to find this so hopefully that'll do the trick. 'sac601', on 01 Jan 2013 - 6:03 PM, said: I could not find the FSX.CFG so I downloaded a little program and I found it and I added TRUE and it worked. Still little too low and when I bring it up with Control - Shift and Q it bring it up correctly but when I look side view and come back front view it goes back to where it was. If anyone has an idea to fixe this permenantly I would appreciate it. Thanks for all your response and Happy New Year all. Al if you would have type 2d views in the search option box on top you would have found your answer by now instead of waiting, didnt take me long to find this for you see if it helps if it doesnt just change some of the numbers to suit you can change panel.cfg: [VIEWS] VIEW_FORWARD_WINDOWS=MAIN_PANEL,MINIPANEL VIEW_FORWARD_DIR=5.5, 0.0, 0.0 VIEW_FORWARD_ZOOM=0.8 This has to be made in the panel cfg which can be found in fsx folder/simobjects/airplanes/pmdg800ngx/panel folder than its under the cfg icon where you add these numbers

2D view too low once panel dragged to 2nd monitor.
So I have undocked the 2D MIP panel to my 2nd monitor and then dragged the 2D cockpit 'outside view' down to the bottom of my monitor. The problem being is I am seeing much more of the ground to my front that I should. It's almost that I am standing in the cockpit. Now I use cntrl shift Q which allows the view to be centred properly which is fine, however, when I change the view to look left right etc, when I return the view has reset to looking down again. Is there a permanent fix for this please if anyone knows of one. Thanks in advance.

Few questions on setup. PMDG 737 NGX
1. Set any weather theme unless using AI Aircraft? I have no idea what AI aircraft means. 2. My configuration page does not save changes. I no longer use track ir but the tick boxes are always checked when I go back to the page, and I receive an annoying dos page that keeps pinging and looking for track ir. I have even uninstalled track ir software. 3. Unable to assign a button on my saitek yoke for live camera views. 4. Do I start opus before, or after starting FSX SE? Thanks in advance.

Most realistic viewpoint?
I strongly suggest a second monitor in order to undock the PFD and ND. Nearly all graphics cards offer multi monitor support now with 3 outputs, with next to zero effect on framerates.

PMDG airplanes crooked to flight path
I too paid 5 bucks on Xmas day and it's the best purchase I ever made. SE is awesome IMO. Very stable, no blurries, CTD errors, etc. I won't be changing to P3D anytime soon. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Playsim VFR Scotland Central DVD problems?
Rather than start a new thread, was just wondering what could be the issue with my Scotland S install. The whole of the Edinburgh region is under water? The scenery is noticeable on the high ground so it has installed but no idea why the region is waterlogged Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Help getting TrackIR 'stable' please
Hi Martin. I use a baseball cap on my head, loose. I think you have your sensor too close to the clip. I know the sensor is supposed to sit on top of your monitor but if, like me, you sit quite close, then you need to position the sensor further back. I placed a small shelf on my wall in the mid-distance and all is well now. I would suggest a distance of roughly 2 metres.

Saitek throttle quadrant and 737 replica levers
No need. Do not install any drivers, do not calibrate. All works fine. Just plug in and follow this very simple tutorial. I have the same setup with the levers and everything works 100percent perfectly. This also allows Reverse Thrust' with the the throttle lever brought down to the bottom detent.

Help getting TrackIR 'stable' please
Funny story that Mark. Lol. I never use mine for complex flying, ie, 737 NGX but do for rotary where I can just fly and not worry about mouse clicks every 5 secs.
