March 9, 201610 yr I've just bought 737 replica levers for the Saitek single throttle quadrant and the manufacturer suggests calibrating the unit with FSUIPC. I've been on Pete Dowson's forum but with no success.... Does anyone have any instructions or advice that may help? Flying the PMDG 737 or 777, in an 'ideal world', the centre 'stick' will control thrust, the left 'stick' will control the spoilers (lever pulled 'down' to extend and 'up' to retract), and the right lever will extend flaps (lever pulled 'down' to deploy, and 'up' to retract). If this can be done using FSUIPC, please advise how and if not, is there a way to achieve this in FSX? Thanks for any help. Toni.
March 9, 201610 yr Yes, FSUIPC should do everything you need. Have your read up on the manual? It has all the info that you need. FSUIPC has a learning curve, but nothing terribly complicated. Also, Here is a tutorial which you may find helpful: http://www.fsrijnmond.nl/PDF%20bestanden/FSUIPC%204.45%20EN%20+TUTORIAL.pdf i9 10850K, RTX3080, MSFS. My avsim uploads Myflightsim.to uploads
March 9, 201610 yr FSUIPC can be very tricky until you get aquainted with all it can do. Here is an excellent guide to help you through the steps. http://www.fsrijnmond.nl/PDF%20bestanden/FSUIPC%204.45%20EN%20+TUTORIAL.pdf Go slow and do not rush things. It takes some time to get this right. Here is another guide, which I think makes things a little easier to understand. Though it is written for CH products, the basic principals are the same. http://www.uk2000scenery.com/fsuipc-guide-v1.pdf Sherm
March 21, 201610 yr No need. Do not install any drivers, do not calibrate. All works fine. Just plug in and follow this very simple tutorial. I have the same setup with the levers and everything works 100percent perfectly. This also allows Reverse Thrust' with the the throttle lever brought down to the bottom detent. Keith Sandford.
