September 2, 200223 yr I guess ZIP format is better. BTW, we are looking forward for Simubuild rides again...
September 2, 200223 yr ZIP - exe leaves stuff in Program folders, desktops, startups and requires removal to get rid of the package later. Please ZIP with proper folders BASED UPON FS2002 folder. Thus it is automated but "adjustable" if needed.Dick regards, Dick near Pittsburgh, USA
September 2, 200223 yr A zip file containing all the correct directoy info would be the best IMO. That way those who want automatic installation can just unzip it to the main FS2002 directoy, and those who want more control can unzip it to a temp dir to check it out before installing. -
September 3, 200223 yr Zipitty doo Daaa Zippity day,,,my oh my, what a wonderful day!whoops wrong forum.......... :) :D=Swivet=
September 3, 200223 yr ZIP of course !However, it would be time to start considering other copression formats ! ZIP is outdated technologically speaking. Let's move to ACE !I use WinACE to archivate my stuff -- much better compression. And of course, the program can handle all other formats (ZIP, RAR, etc)(No, I'm not employed by Mr. Ace... ;-) )Long life to Simubuild and freeware !Andr
September 3, 200223 yr I personally don't care, most EXE's that are freeware, DON'T WORK. so ZIP is better, since its smaller.so zip
