For those who fly this great a/c: check the trim before TO. Mine appears to be set to a very steep climb and the sample flight doc. provided doesn't say much about it.

How do you check the position of the trim? -- if memory serves me correctly, I don't think I have discovered a trim position indicator on the panel yet.Barry

On the left side of the throttle quadrant (SHIFT-3). Normal t/o seems to require it to be roughly neutral. That is with full tanks and default weight/balance.AndyEGTR

The takeoff trim position is marked on the throttle quadrant. If you can't see it, undock the throttle window and stretch it.

Guess it varies with the input device. I need to be at the upper end of the TO range (i.e. trim down) or the bird TO by itself and gets into a 45 deg. pitch...
