Dynamic shine problem with 2k2 add-ons in 2K4?

Featured Replies

These shots show what I think is going to be a small problem with add-ons that have dynamic shine and are made for 2k2. This seems to happen with ALL of my 2k2 aircraft that have dynamic shine in the model when I put them into 2k4. These screens are taken in the same place, same time, same season with reflections on. Makes a very small difference with reflections off, but its still very noticeable. Was wondering if anyone has seen this yet in 2k4 and can comment about it. I still have the press beta so this may be a moot point, but wonder if others could try this out with the retail version. This is FFX's MD-80 by the way. For the FFX guys maybe you can take a look at this for 2k4, your planes work fine otherwise!EDIT: Pics were too big.

Gonna have to disagree with you there. I was trying the PSS Vulcan (which is primarily an FS2002 aircraft) the other day and in fact, posted some shots here on AVSIM. I have attached one of those shots which shows clearly dynamic shine on the nose and the leading edge of the wing. I understand that PSS is payware but the concept of dynamic shine is no different. Furthermore, I have also tried the FFX DC-10 also with the same results. However I do have the full final version of the simulator.EDIT: Pic was deleted because it was too big, please take a look at our forum rules. Thanks.Hope you solve your problem soon.Best Regards,Adam Nardone

Yes, many aircraft still appear "white" in some instances. :(
