I don't know if it comes from Avsim but starting today I've received at least 20 spam e-mails with suspicious 72kb attachments all of which refer to a flightsim vendor: flightsim.com, avsim.com, Phoenix Simulations, etc., even some I've never corresponded with. They all say RE: Your Password, etc. I believe someone has somehow gotten hold of your mailing list(s). My mailbox is overflowing and it's a good thing I check it regularly. I tried McAfee Spam Killer but the first thing it killed was a picture of my new grandson from my son. (So, I killed Spam Killer and got 20 Spams in return)...

Steve, that is not "spam" but a trojan virus that has coopted people's address book and started sending out email which is also infected. You happen to have been in someone's address book and the email to you (and millions of others) is spoofing the originating address.

Thanks, Tom. I've now received over 30 of these things. WOW. They also include many non-flightsim related addresses such as yahoo.fr, yahoo.com, etc. What a pain.
