To be honest, while I appreciate the work involved in these, they dont look real..but to I also like the default clouds once modified using FSUIPC and ActiveSky.Eric

Hello, "they dont look real..but to I also like the default clouds once "I am sorry, Chris clouds are 10x better , cirrus and all others clouds are very realistic, default clouds in fs2002 are boring and crap :-erks default fs2002 high level cloud.http://fsw.simflight.com/FSKSEF.htmlhttp://fsw.simflight.com/FSWFs2k2Clouds.htmlMartin

They look real enough for me.....as long as you dont over do it.Now if can just get MS to fix it so that the clouds go all the way to the horizon.

I think the thing that bothered me was that these new clouds looked too solid. Not whispy. I also thought the sky colors looked too blue. Just my opinion. Not critizising these tools. I just may not prefer to use them.Eric

Eric,There is no need to apologize for your opinion. The cloud sets contain a fine example of "artistic" clouds.I give props to Chris and the crew for trying to improve the simulated skies, but I prefer not to use them either.Bruce

>I think the thing that bothered me was that these new clouds >looked too solid. Not whispy. I do not have opinion at this point about Chris' new set of clouds but on the subject of 'whispiness' I can tell you from my flying experience there are many different clouds out there and cumulus clouds do often have a very 'solid' look with absolutely no whispiness' at the edges. I am glad we can finally have clouds like that in FS2002. Stratus clouds are the ones that often exhibit whispy characteristics.Michael J.
