Missing AI Traffic

Featured Replies

I have set my ATC Traffic to 100% and don't see any AI traffic.Anyone know why? I used to see Ai Traffic.ThanksFavorite area to Fly--Alaska!

If you're getting nothing at all, I'm guessing something's happened to your traffic.bglIf you have Traffic Tools, try de-compiling the file and see what aircraft and flightplans you have installed.I can recommend using the PAI AI traffic files to "fill your sky" so if you've got a corrupt traffic.bgl, replace it with the original from the FS2002 CD and start again.

Check your fs2002aircraft folder for default.dp. If missing, retrieve from your fs2002 CDs using an unzipping program. Search the *.cab files and extract to the folder noted. Also search you entire scenery folders for duplicate copies of traffic.bgl. You should only have one in your fs2002scenedbATCScenery folder. Delete any others or rename them with a different extension, such as OLD, ORIGINAL, WHATSTHIS!!!.

I may have the same problem.I had it once before and restored them I think by reinstalling the traffic.bgl file.I don't understand what you mean by search the *.cab file and extract.Could you be more explicit please. And i just copy the default.dp from cd to aircraft folder if it is missing, right? Thanks,Ron

The unzipping program, such as winzip - www.winzip.com , can open *.cab files (cab files has compacted files inside them, just as zip files). On your fs2002 CDs, you will find a multitude of *.cab files. If you cannot see the file extensions, you need to open Windows Explorer, Tools, Folder Options, View Tab,:Deselect - Hide file extensions for known file typesHidden files - select Show all files
