Mexican Airports Vol.1 & 2

Featured Replies

What does everyone think of these products? So far I like what I see in the previews but just thought I would ask before I get these. Also is there any SimMarket type of site that offers these addons for download after purchase? I really don't want to have to wait for an International postal delivery, but if I must, then I'll do so. Thanks

Glad I can be of some help here. I asked a similar question on this forum about a month ago. This ultimately led me to some flightsim forum in spanish whoes members are mostly form Mexico. They told me - don't waste your money on this product because ...... (in short it is not very good) get instead tha brand new "Escenarios Mexico 2002" which includes over 65 biggest airports in Mexico. The price is $57 but considering the number of airports it is still a good buy. The screenshots look very good indeed. LOD9 mesh scenery for Mexico is included. But the company (VANS Aircraft) is so new, so poorly established that there is no easy way to order this product from US. Through email they asked me for $30 shipping & handling fee and some bizarre way to send them funds (they can't handle credit cards). After some complaints they lowered it to $25. Again, through that forum I developed some contacts and some mexican Citation pilot who flies from Mexico to San Antonio will get this for me and mail it to me from within the US. I am now in the middle of getting it organized. You won't find many people here interested in Mexican airports. I have no clue why. Considering the price ratio it seems like hell of a buy and Mexico is certainly a very interesting place to do your flying.Michael J.
