October 16, 200223 yr Can you just have a TV and no monitor on your computer. Is replacing the monitor with a big TV a real option?
October 16, 200223 yr You might be able to have just a TV connected, however, you probably would need to set your BIOS to NOT error if it doesn't detect a monitor. You also have to have a graphics card that support TV/S video output and a TV that supports this type input. The problem with using a standard TV is the resolution which is very low compared to a monitor. There are monitor/TVs that do provide computer VGA or RGB/Sync input but they are very expensive. The large LCD TVs usually have these inputs. Bill Sieffert
October 21, 200223 yr The resolution of TV out is way below what you get on a good computer monitor..It runs fine as a way of showing off FS to an audience, but you do not get the detail you need to read the panel, or even the drop down menus..! Bert
