Need a good joystick

Featured Replies

Hi.My joystick I have is on its last legs and I want to get another one. I dont want a yoke or rudder pedals just a good joystick thats reliable..feels good and is very compatible with FS2002.Any ideas?I was thinking about the Microsoft Force Feedback joystick but then remember maybe hearing it had problems in FS2002.ThanksCraig Kiltie

I used my M$ Sidewinder Pro for years and it still works great. For Christmas I was given the Logitech Cordless Wingman and now it's pretty much all I use, tho I have a yoke and pedals. No wires, good feel, batteries are still the original. Only slight problem is that if you don't give it input for a few minutes it "disconnects" to save batteries and there's a few seconds of lag when you start using it again. As long as you know that, not a problem.

I don't play military sims, so I wanted a joystick that would give me true 'commercial' feel - namely stick in the left hand and throttle in the right hand. The only joystick that can do this (or you can easily configure it to the other side) is Saitek Cyborg 3D USB. Very well made too - have been using it for 2 yrs with no problems.Michael J.http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg
