May 31, 200323 yr hi all, i have different settings i can view my 17 inch monitor at. I want to know what is the best setting to have my monitor at, is it 1024 x 768 or 1152 x 864 or something else?Thanks! I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
May 31, 200323 yr I would think either 1024x788 or 1280x960 depending in the monitor capabillty and performance (my choice is 1024x768). Any 17" monitor runs well at 1024x768 and most of the newer models will do an equally good job at 1280x960. June 1, 200323 yr I am using 1024x768 @ 85Hz on my 17" monitor. I think this is optimal for a 17" monitor and theres no annoying flicker.
June 1, 200323 yr is it a flat panel or CRT, try 1280x1024, it has the same preportions as 1024x768 only with greater quality. for CRTs 85Hz is fine, for FPs, 60Hz is perfect
