January 12, 200323 yr Hi, Damian, during a discussion in the FSFlightMax support forum several users have reported seeing discrepansies in the METAR reported in the ActiveSky interface itself (and the message reports in FS) and the data exported to wx-export.met, resulting in FSFlightMax not displaying radar weather correctly:an example I recorded today at KAUS (Austin TX):KAUS 121453Z 02007KT 1 1/2SM R17L/5500VP6000FT +RA BR BKN005 OVC011 03/03 A30372002/12/14 08:53KAUS 140853Z 00000KT 10SM CLR 01/00 A3016 RMK AO2 SLP216 T00060000 58007The top line here is from the METAR in the ActiveSky interface. The bottom date and line is what was exported into the wx-export.met file at the same time. Note the date, this was recorded today (jan. 12, 2003) with FS set to use system time. Although I live in Holland, I've set my language and regional settings in Win XP to U.S. except for the time zone (GMT+1).I hope this helps in troubleshooting ActiveSky/FSFlightMax interfacing.Activesky itself is brilliant and really adds new realism and atmosphere to the weather in flightsim!edit: here's the link to the relevant discussion at the FSFlightMax Forum:http://www.simsystems.com.au/cgi-bin/dcfor...ewmode=threaded
