February 18, 200323 yr Moderator Hi Damian - Using paid version - all is well but have simple question. When I clear all wx in FS2002 and refresh Wx - the winds aloft in the Wx dialog stay the same. If I highlight the data in the winds aloft box and delete it and then refresh - I get new winds aloft data closer to the reporting station. Not a problem but just wondered if this is the proper method.Thanx,Vic Baron RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
February 18, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi Vic,I haven't heard of this problem before.. I wonder if what is happening is that the winds download is timing out? Can you try this in offline mode (with a current new download cycle) and see if you get the same results? Thanks!-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
February 20, 200323 yr Author Moderator Must have been some incompatability on my system. It's been doing that since day 1 and last night, when I went to set up a test for you, it now reloads the correct winds aloft.I use this same system for programming and had to reinstall some dll's so possibly I had a corrupt one that was affecting WxRE.Go figure - anyway - all is well now .Thanx,Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
