March 5, 200323 yr Jim,This is a copy of email I've left for Damian, but I thought perhaps you might be less busy:1) When I setup for TAF and METAR, the METARs have been erroring out lately with 'syntax errors' given as the cause, albeit intermitently. I haven't used any syntax command other than check METAR downloads.2) I'm having problems getting ASky to the recognize the mapping I've set for FS2002/FSUIPC which is on my host PC. I'm almost continually getting a FSUIPC "needs vers XXXX or later" error. I do have the latest available mapped to the host. I've checked the doc setup from first time run, but I'm still getting the problem and it must be some 'little thing.' Interesting enough, until the hdrive went boom (a few days ago) ActiveSky was running great. Anything stand out to you? System is using Wideserver, FSMax, FSGarmin on client, and FS2002 on host Win2K.Thanks!Ron McLeod CYEG
March 5, 200323 yr Ron,1. See if you are using VATSIM METARS. If yes, then un-check that option. That is being worked on for 1.6.2. I have no knowledge of Wideserver, so I'll allow Damian or someone else to respond.Hope this helps,Jim
