March 7, 200323 yr Hello DamianJust wondering why I have over 10 MB of offline met and wx files in the AS folder? When I use online mode. Am I suppose to delete these files? I thought in online mode I go to server and upload current info. Could you explain??Bill m Bill McIntyre Asus StrixB650E-F Gamer, AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D, Corsair Titanium DDR5 64GB, Samsung 990 PRO-4TB M.2, (4) 2TB SSD's, Corsair H1150i liquid cooler, RTX 2080TI Founders Edition, (2) LG 34" HD Curved Monitor, Sound Blaster Audigy X, 1Kw PC Power & Cooling Power Supply, Corsair Obsidian Full tower Case. March 7, 200323 yr Bill,You can leave them or delete them. If you delete them however, they will return. As each new hourly METAR is downloaded it is named according to the METAR hour time. Once you have a file named for each hour, all new dloads will overwrite the older file. If you have all 24 METAR files these will never grow larger. I know this doesn't answer all your questions.Hope this helps,Jim
March 9, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi Bill,When using "Export to FSFlightMax" there will be METAR cycle files and a single exp-metar.met file that are created automatically. They can grow up to 30 days worth automatically and thus ~10mb. It should not grow further and if you want to remove any of these you can.-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
