August 1, 200322 yr Commercial Member Hi,Turbulence will appear with winds. If you have calm winds the probability of turbulence is low. With higher or gusty winds, there is higher probability of more significant turbulence. Stability of the air and air pressure also effects this. If you'd like to try it in an extreme situation make a custom METAR string with 01021G33KT and A2980. For in-cloud turbulence, you can use FSUIPC (registered)'s random turbulence in clouds option.-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
