When I first installed AS, when I pressed the refresh button AS would download weather and load it ti FS. Now I must press the refresh buttom at least 4 times to get correct weather to load. What have change??Bill M

Hi Bill,Do you by any chance have a weather theme or other weather set being loaded at FS start (before AS2004 starts) ? This could cause that kind of behavior. Make sure you start with the clear weather theme and/or use FSUIPC Clear all weather command before you start AS2004 and your flight. This will ensure a clean wx environment for AS2004 to start manipulating. Also note that any airborne updates will adhere to your suppression settings, which may prevent any updates to nearby airports. It is thus important for AS2004's initial wx update (or any refresh for which you intend to update local wx) to occur on the ground.Does this help? By default I load FS weather as clear all weather. I tried resseting FSUIPC to defaults. I tried earlier version of FSUIPC. When I'm sitting at an airport gate, I start AS and press the refresh button, It downloads the weather and when I look at advance display I see the downloaded weather scrolling across. But all I see is clear skies outside the AC until I press the refresh button at least 4 times. Then the correct weather loads and I have no more problems.Bill M

So far I uninstalled and reinstalled AS2004 with new patch. I deleted the FSUIPC ini file and had it rebuild itself and made the settings according to the AS manual. And even though AS is reporting rain, I get broken clouds and clear skies. So by chance I cleared AS weather and used FS download weather and got the right weather conditions. I then cleared all weather went back to AS downloaed and still got the wrong conditons. After pressing the refresh button 5 times, the correct weather loaded.Bill M
