January 31, 200422 yr Hello there, it's mister EHAM again here ;-)Some time ago I noticed a temperature problem at EHAM (http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=171&topic_id=7472&mesg_id=7472&page=3), now I have a strange thing with rain. Please try following METAR:EHAM 311125Z 18022G32KT 6000 RA FEW009 BKN011 BKN016 07/06 Q0995 TEMPO 4500When I'm using this, the rain is NOT visible untill the altitude is 0 (zero) or higher. This is the case for all views, not just the cockpit view. Like the temperature problem, I still believe this has something to do with EHAM being below sealevel. Yes, I know you tested and concluded this is not the case Jim :-). However, why is this disappearing rain re-appearing when raising the view position (in ANY view) above zero? Is it just me again or is everbody seeing this at EHAM using mentioned METAR?Kind regards,Hakkie
January 31, 200422 yr No, no!!! You misunderstood. I did see the same strange temps as you did. All I tried was to "fix" it by changing some data and THAT didn't work!! This rain thing will wait until I am done with a flight, then I'll check it out. But I'll propably see the same thing!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support
