February 26, 200422 yr Hi David,Just moving the FS2004 folder may cause FS not to run also. For AS you can search the registry for each AS2004 entry and change the drive letter. Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support

February 27, 200422 yr Commercial Member Hi David,Sorry, there is not much I can do.. you cannot move AS2004 from one folder to another without re-installing it (same goes for just about any program). You need to re-install to the new folder. SimMarket WILL supply another download, but they don't offer that for free (small charge). I highly recommend backing up your install files in the future! Sorry I could not be of more help...-Damian Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies

February 27, 200422 yr FS also creates registry entries. How did you work around those?JimActiveSky Support
February 27, 200422 yr Author Hi Jim,This is an excellent question!Because my F drive was almost full and I had the D drive empty and bigger I had the choice between re-installing FS on D, copying all my data from F to D and then formating F, OR copying the whole FS folder to the D drive, play with the registry and then format F.I think I made the bad choice....It took me 3 hours and 10 aspirins to clean or modify all the entries..Here is what I've done:1) Replace one by one every F:.... for D:....2) Clean all old D: entries from previous installs on this partition)3) check and re-checkIt was crazy. It works perfectly but I still have FS installed on the F drive and I am not sure of the result when I will format the partition. But I had enough headache with this moving so now, let's fly a little bit !Have a nice dayDavid - PC Hardware: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D // Asus ROG Crosshair X870E HERO // 2x32Gb Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 // ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition // 4Tb Corsair NVMe M.2 MP600 // Corsair 1600W PSU Samsung Odyssey Arc 55" curved 165 Hz monitor. - Simulator Hardware: VIRPIL Constellation Alpha Prime + VIRPIL VPC Universal Control Panel - #3 + MOZA AY210 Force Feedback Yoke + WINWING URSA MINOR 32 Throttle & PAC Metal + WINWING SKYWALKER Metal Rudder Pedals + WINWING Airbus FCU & EFIS + WINWING Boeing 3N PAP + WINWING MCDU-32 + WINWING PFP-4 + WINWING PFP 3-N + WINWING PFP-7.
