Hello Folks,The message, "E>403 Forbidden" is showing up where the winds aloft data used to be. Is this a problem on my machine, or has this already been reported.I use wxRE 1.91 runing on a WideClient machine with FS 2002 pro.Any help is appreciated

Hello, just wanted to let you know that I am experiencing something similar today (March 3), with wxRE 1.92, except that in my case, the winds aloft are updating normally, but the problem lies with the METAR/TAF reports:in the METAR field, when trying to download any metar:"METAR report not found / ID not valid "in the TAF field, the symptoms have gone through a bit of a change during the day:* in the beginning (from about 08Z till 17Z);some code including "403 Forbidden"* later on, since about 17Z;"TAF Unavailable"Note that selecting the "VATSIM metars" option in the options menu results in METARs being displayed (but rather old ones), but still no TAFs. Again, winds aloft are displayed without any problem in my case..server issues?regards,KenBrussels- Belgium

Hi guys,Well, when it rains it pours. It looks like NOAA decided to update their servers today. The old sources that wxRE has used are no longer available it seems (or are being updated). I am keeping a close eye on this today and will begin coding an update to account for the changes, possibly requiring a new source entirely. Sorry for the troubles, and I hope to have a solution ASAP.Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004betateam.jpg
