While we are on the wake subject, I got tossed around following a medium jet (I was in a commuter CRJ200) but with a crosswind present and a seperation of about 4 nm, at least two minutes. Unless there was another cause (storms were dissipated and WX500 radar showed 40 nm clear of CB) should not have the WT dissipated by then? Rather than rolling I got a violent downward shear followed by a pitch up twice, but recovered going fast enough and balanced.How do you have the Wake Turbulance dissipation programmed?Thanks for info.
