Did upgrade to 1.92 work?

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, This is my first post, and I'd like to start by saying that I love ActiveskyWxRe and all PSS products.I've been using a purchased copy of Activesky version 1.6. I downloaded the upgrade to 1.92, but I notice that my Activesky still says its version 1.6. Is this normal, or have I done something wrong? Second, I never seem to get any winds aloft when I print a wx briefing. Is there truly a way for me to get and print winds aloft to help with my flight planning? Thanks!

it should say 1.92. I just checked and mine does. I don't remember about the winds. I have been using As2004. Great program. Keith

Hi,Sounds like you have the CD Just Flight Version. You'll need to get the update for this special version from www.justflight.com.In wxRE winds aloft briefing info is limited to inside the US (as it uses FD winds info), but you can use this excellent site for planning which uses the same data source for actual winds in the sim:http://weather.uwyo.edu/upperair/sounding.htmlHope that helps!-Damian

I do indeed have the CD version, and I've heard there's an update on the Justflight site. But I haven't been able to find it on the site at all.

Hi,JustFlight should be able to help you out. I wish I could, but you need to be a registered user, of which I am not. Drop them a line and ask them for the URL. Please let us know when you are all set, so that we can close this thread.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
