Auto-detect setting for FS2002?

Featured Replies

just went from a geforce 2mx to a geforce 4 ti4200 w/ 128 mg and i'm surprised the settings dont seem to auto detect the change...when the default setting button is pushed for medium effects, I get the same readings...

I would not expect FS to change its display settings, because of a new card..As long as the card is correctly installed, including the driver, you can now select higher display settings, than your earlier card could process.I made the same card change as you and found that I could now go from 1024x768x16 to 1280x960x32 without any performance penalty, and even with 2xAA, I have raised my FPS setting from 20 to 24..It is a great card!
