Path to stored flight plans?

Featured Replies

Where is the path to the flight plans stored for ActiveSky2004? It always wants to open the wrong user documents folder when I want to import a flight plan. Is there some way I can change the path? I've searched and searched through cfg and ini files and the registry but can't find it.I know the flight plans are stored under C:useridmy documentsflight simulator filesI want to change the userid in this path because it's always the wrong one. Can anyone help me?Ken

Hi,Because there are so many different possibilites out there right now, AS had to choose one way and allow you to browse to your particular folder. Maybe this is some option to add in the future, a per user path to their flight plans.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg

It's not a big problem, it's just that it opens the right folder for the wrong user. I'm using WinXP and have FS set up under a different userid. When I go to import a plan it always goes to my personal userid, Ken, instead of my FS local userid. I was just looking for someway to correct the action so I wouldn't have to browse for the folder. I've uninstalled and reinstalled under my FS userid but still no luck. The path for the userid is obviously stored somewhere but I just can't find it. Guess I'll have to live with it. Anyway thanks for your response.Ken

In the folder that does open, try put a shortcut to the desired folder to reduce browsing to one click.

Just to let you know, I finally solved my problem. I deleted the incorrect folder and then when I next used ActiveSky2004 it went directly to the correct flight plan folder. No more browsing around!Ken
