August 6, 200421 yr Hi.Recently, I noticed that after loading AS2004 MR2 (I didn't check V1.0 and MR1), my PSS A320 is not working 100% correctlly. The problem is not to serious, but ...;-)The problem is : when I start flight (PSS A320 cold and dark cockpit), all works ok. You can get electrical power with bateries, APU and EXT PWR, and last is not working, after starting AS2004 (before that it works Ok, so probably the problem isn't connected with FSUIPC).After AS2004 loading, my EXT PWR button (on overhead panel) flashes. AVAIL light goes On and OFF (also visible on ECAM ELEC page). I notice this also with build 130, but flashing (my subjective opinion) is less frequent.Everything else works normaly.P.S. Is it ok to install base pack As2004v1.0 and after that MR2. I don't need to install MR1 before???ThanksEdin
August 6, 200421 yr Hi Edin,Can't speak on the PSS for I do not own it. As far as your update, it is OK to go from V1.0 to MR2.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
August 6, 200421 yr Commercial Member Hi Edin,I am assuming the EXT PWR and availability is determined via the A320. How it is determined is the question. Based on the fact that it's going on and off, and you only get this with AS2004 providing weather, I am assuming the airspeed indication is used. When under a certain airspeed it should consider you "parked" and ground power will be available. That "certain airspeed" might be going back and forth perhaps due to gusts or variability as per METAR report. If this is the case, the problem is with the A320 and not AS2004. They should be using ground speed, not airspeed for their parked determination. The solution would be to limit surface winds via AS options or FSUIPC so that the A320 doesn't think you're moving when it could just be that the headwinds are a bit high. This is all just a guess, and may not be happening in your case, but worth a shot! August 6, 200421 yr Hi EdinI have the PSS A320 also, and this is a know problem with the panel, has something to do with the handleing of wind and the panel, have a look aswell when you see your ext pwr button flash, look at your brake temp, you will see it is sky rocketing. So it is not an AS2004 problem, you will even get it with normal FS downloaded weather too.RegardsJannier Regards Jannie Roelofse Flight1 Software Project Manager
